Evergreen climber with dark green foliage and 1.5 to 2 inch wide, white flowers in March to April. Star-like, abundant blooms have a strong fragrance. Will only bloom on previous year's growth, so dead and weak stems should be pruned after flowering, generally in early summer. Also, any excessive growth outside of its allocated space can be pruned at this time.
