Rubus pentalobus 'Emerald Carpet'
Emerald Carpet Crinkle-leaf Creeper
Low-growing, evergreen ground cover. Rubus pentalobus has dark green leaves, which become burgundy-tinted in the fall. Long, ground-hugging stems look good cascading down a slope or in rockery. By late summer and early fall, brilliant orange-red fruits take over as the foliage takes on autumnal tints. As the latin name implies, the leaves are five-lobed.
